Birth Center Informational Evening
St. Croix Birth & Parenting wants to provide the opportunity for more women and couples to have a safe, gentle, out-of-hospital birth. While homebirth is a wonderful choice, it is not always possible for every couple, due to space or privacy limitations in their home or other needs. A free-standing birth center, staffed by experienced and capable midwives, is an additional safe birthing option for many couples. St. Croix Birth & Parenting plans to host an evening to discuss the possibility of opening a free-standing birth center in the Twin Cities. If you are interested in attending the evening, are an expectant parent who wants to see a birth center opened in the Twin Cities area, or want to join a task force to open a birth center, please contact us!! To plan well, it is vital to hear from anyone interested in seeing that a birth center is opened; the more people who respond, the more likely it is that the birth center will see Opening Day.
