Christelle's Story The Hagen Family
I am married to my college sweetheart, Christopher, and am the happy (and occasionally harried!) mother of seven living children. Obviously, I love babies! I have had a variety of birth experiences: one medicated hospital birth (my first), followed by five natural childbirths, including four at home and one in the hospital and, lastly, one family-centered cesarean birth. Two of my seven births have been waterbirths, and I also had one "shower" birth! Sadly, I have personal experience with miscarriage and two of my babies required intensive care, so I am familiar with both the joys and the sorrows of childbearing. In addition to a passion for natural childbirth, I am a very experienced breastfeeding mother and I take joy in helping new mothers achieve their breastfeeding and parenting goals.
