Birth Matters (Series of 6 Classes)
Description
A natural birth gives the baby, mother, father and new family a wonderful beginning and is usually the healthiest choice. Prepare for a safe and meaningful natural birth by knowing the choices you can make during your birth that are the most direct route to a natural childbirth.
The Birth Matters Natural Childbirth Education Series of 6 classes:
- Prepares you for a confident natural childbirth
- Informs you of what to expect during your birth
- Guides the birth partner to know how to best support you during your birth
- Gives you a list of the most important choices you can make before and during your birth to experience a successful, joyful natural childbirth
You are welcome to take all six of these classes, or pick and choose the ones that interest you. While the class is designed as a series, you are welcome to take classes in any order, if that works better for you!
Session 1: Natural Childbirth in a Nutshell (what to expect during a natural birth)
Session 2: Mom's Best Friend (birth partner preparation class)
Session 3: Mermaid Moms (waterbirth preparation class)
Session 4: Your Best Nest (birthplace options class)
Session 5: Birth Sense (understanding common childbirth procedures and interventions)
Session 6: Natural Childbirth Techniques (relaxation, massage and other techniques to use during your birth)
All classes can be taken online or in person.
